Villa Gjeçaj is located in Theth, which is located in a valley in the Albanian Alps at 850m above sea level […] This beautiful village is quite remote (3 hours from the nearest town, Shkoder) and has very few tourists. It is important to note that due to its remote location, there are no super luxurious hotels.

Albania is still (2018) one of those “off the beaten track” destinations and travelling to remote Albania could seem  like a daunting task; rest assured, this is rewarded with authentic, quiet and beautiful hidden gems.

It is worth noting, that in many remote locations, the access roads are only accessible during the summer months (May – September) and they are cut off during winter.

Oh Austria. When many native English speakers think of Salzburg and Austria, the first thing that springs to mind is the Sound of Music of Motzart…

Sorry to disappoint you, but I haven’t seen any singing Nuns during the times I have visited Salzburg, but as shown in the musical, the scenery is beautiful.

The outdoor can provide us with somewhere we can get away from the stresses and strains of everyday life, or even for a holiday. Sometimes it isn’t easy for people to just get outdoors, especially if you suffer with Anxiety. Adventuring with Anxiety can seem daunting, but it is possible!

It is important to be mindful that depression and anxiety may entice us to do the opposite of these lifestyle changes. Learning to say “no” to your depression and anxiety is tough, but it will help with recovery.
